Taking into account each unit’s individual technical constraints on site and reviewing data from several energy market platforms, ThingPark Energy calculates and schedules an optimal consumption profile, which minimizes the site’s total electricity bill, reducing operational costs. It creates additional value using the site’s flexibility in Automated Demand Response actions, seizing pricing opportunities to deviate from the profile and to trade flexibility on markets.
Enable automatic real-time control / balancing
Using low-level latency connections for continuous operation and highly responsive software, Actility is able to control load and generation in real-time to deliver advanced DR services with processes’ flexibility or optimize the cost effectiveness of industrial sites. Real-time control can be done either locally by embedded intelligent algorithms in autonomous Actility Boxes, or remotely, managed by the ThingPark Energy software platform.

Benefiting from its M2M expertise, Actility is able to collect data from thousands of assets and aggregate their available flexibility thanks to its powerful Aggregation Server (DAAS). Monitored and managed in real-time, this unexploited potential can be offered to the grid operator through DR services. Based on the law of large number, the algorithm is successively activating and deactivating groups of units in real-time and is able to follow any type of load profile.
