Tensei Philippines Inc. Now Distributes IoT LoRaWAN Solutions from Actility and Abeeway

Press Release, Paris, France & Manila, Philippines – 30 July, 2021

We are happy to announce that Actility has partnered with Tensei Philippines Inc. – TPI – a Japanese-founded company created in 2014, and a leading provider of a wide range of services from technology, security, or recruitment, to business process outsourcing, starting from the initial concept to its implementation. TPI is now an Actility Channel Partner, allowing its clients deploy IoT solutions for Smart Buildings embedded with a private LoRaWAN® network infrastructure using Actility’s ThingPark Enterprise platform, and Abeeway devices for asset management and workforce safety.

Tensei Philipines is a multi-faced organization which combines both Japanese and Filipino expertise, offering strong skills in the development of a wide range of services which include intelligent Building Management Systems (iBMS), Video Management Systems (VMS), System Development, Document Management Systems (DMS), Hospital and Hotel Management Systems (HMS), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), with the aim of creating innovative technology solutions that will continue helping transform the future.

Therefore, the company aims to implement intelligent Building Management System (iBMS) solutions across many verticals, engaging in different protocols and applying many different ideas to make their iBMS solution become a one-stop solution. For this TPI decided to include the LoRaWAN ThingPark Enterprise technology in their product offer, which grants the ability to gather, analyze and transform raw data into insights to optimize any industrial process.

Since it is the first time TPI engaged with LoRaWAN technology, the company searched for Actility’s know-how, acquired through years of experience and thousands of use cases deployed, to help them deploy their private network server and handle their Abeeway asset management devices offer. Offering TPI gives the opportunity to expand end-to-end smart tracking solutions to own services for reliable indoor and outdoor human and asset safety and location.

Tensei Philippines decided to choose Actility, having carried out a careful comparison with other companies, after being impressed by Actility’s service flexibility. Being able to work with any IoT device connected to the LoRaWAN protocol allows TPI to produce new systems which couldn’t get offered before.

LoRaWAN® is a low power wireless protocol for wide area networks. With LoRaWAN®, devices can communicate with IoT applications over long-range wireless connections. It also allows for devices’ batteries to last longer, therefore significantly lowering the Total Cost of Ownership. Actility already powers more than 50 telecoms operators with LoRaWAN® connectivity across the globe. Its enterprise-grade LoRaWAN® network server – ThingPark Enterprise – operates over 35.000 network base stations worldwide. In additional to its international reach, Actility also brings to the partnership its Abeewaytracking devices that work both indoors and outdoors thanks to their multi- technology geolocation system, integrating GPS, Abeeway’s patented Low-power GPS, Wi-Fi Sniffing and Bluetooth Low Energy.

We have been able to add a new line of products to our IoT platform, iBMS. Through this partnership with Actility, we can now offer something that has been difficult to do in the past. We know that new solutions and businesses are born from encounters with our customers, and now clients can feel free to contact us about any problem they have, with the certainty that we will be able to solve their problems together”

said Takamori Nishikawa, COO/CFO at Tensei Philippines Inc.

Through this partnership with Actility, both companies intend to support their clients by acquiring the opportunity to leverage Tensei Philipine’s vast catalogue of solutions, optimizing any industrial process through powerful, flexible and scalable IoT solutions usingLoRaWAN® connectivity and managed on Actility’s TPE platform, which allows to deploy, operate and maintain public and private wireless IoT networks for an infinity ofIoT use cases.
