Actility, the leading provider of multi-technology LPWAN core networks, today announced its increased focus on the German market, acknowledging the rapid growth of the IoT industry and LoRaWAN deployments in the country.
According to IoT Analytics, the IoT market in Germany is expected to grow by 18%, from $11 billion in 2022 to $13 billion in 2023. Key sectors driving this growth include discrete manufacturing ($3.9 billion), automotive ($2.1 billion), and hybrid manufacturing ($1.4 billion). The IoT use case with the highest adoption rate in Germany is IoT-based plant/worker safety, which accounts for 72%, followed by asset monitoring.
