Actility wins ‘fundraising of the year’ award at Cleantech Europe

Actility has proudly received the Award for Fundraising Achievement of the Year 2016 at the Cleantech Forum Europe in Lyon on April 12th.

The award is the result of a very fruitful year for the company that in one year time grew and continues to grow exponentially and has confirmed its position as a global industry leader in LPWA solutions, following a €22.5m funding in June 2015.

Founded in 2002, Cleantech Group’s (CTG) mission is to accelerate sustainable innovation. Core to this mission is i3, an online platform that connects corporates with innovation, at scale, by allowing them to find, vet, and connect with start-ups—efficiently building an innovation pipeline. Cleantech has recognized innovation leaders in the field of energy, resource efficiency and sustainability since 2002. IoT players and Smart Cities are a newer, but very important phenomenon in the scope of coverage.

To Actility, winning this award is of a great recognition to its growth and confirmation of its global activities that will help deploying smart cities and buildings all over the world. The company has recently secured a new partnership with Cisco to deliver IoT solutions using the LoRa technology via the Cisco Solutions+ offer and collaborates with major telcos such as Proximus, KPN and Swisscom who are currently deploying and relaizing a wide range of IoT use cases.
