Actility extends the ThingPark wireless low power network to space during Stratocaching event in Prague

In a world premiere for Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technologies, Actility demonstrates ultra long range sensor connectivity range up to the stratosphere.

The ThingPark Wireless tracking seed, one of the lightest devices, transmitted a signal below 25mW from a very small 2.5cm printed antenna.

This experiment illustrates the enormous potential of the Thingpark Wireless low power networking technology for tracking and other battery powered IoT applications.

The event was followed online by over 120 000 viewers. 10.379 stratocachers registered for the game and 842 reported findings of a stratocaching seed but the ThingPark Wireless seed is still to be found.
