CAT Telecom selects Actility to power rollout of Thai national IoT communication network with support from Teo Hong Silom
Actility is pleased to announce today that Thailand’s CAT Telecom has selected the ThingPark Wireless LPWA connectivity platform to power a national IoT communication network rollout across the country, beginning with a smart city solution for Phuket, soon to be followed by Bangkok. Actility is partnered with local system integrator and communication network specialist Teo Hong Silom Group to support the deployment and scale-up of the network.

Actility partners with network operators worldwide to launch ThingPark Exchange, the first LoRaWAN international roaming hub
Actility, the industry leader in Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) network connectivity, today announces ThingPark Exchange, the first hub for international IoT roaming, and the agreement of a number of public LoRaWAN operators around the world to sign up to the service. LoRa Alliance members including Australian operator NNNCo and Finland’s Digita, will connect their LoRaWAN network servers to the Actility ThingPark Exchange platform to enable instant packet roaming between their networks.

ER Telecom and Actility sign cooperation agreement during meeting of President Macron and President Putin at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum
St Petersburg, Russia, May 25th 2018: Actility and ER Telecom have signed a further collaboration agreement to accelerate the deployment of IoT in Russia during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian Premier Vladimir Putin to the International Economic Forum in St Petersburg. The agreement, signed in the presence of Delphine Gény-Stephann, Secretary of State in the French Economic and Finance Ministry, covers the collaborative development of infrastructure and software for IoT systems for both the corporate and consumer markets. ER Telecom is the second largest and fastest-growing Russian telecom operator, already catering to the majority of Russia’s largest enterprises.

Öresundskraft and Actility announce rollout of Swedish IoT network using unique “City Hub” model
Öresundskraft, the Swedish energy company and fibre network operator, and Actility, the industry leader in Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networks , today announce that they are working together to deploy a LoRaWAN IoT communication network within the Helsingborg Open City Hub, which could be the first of many rolling out across Sweden under the auspices of the StadshubbsAlliansen (“City Hub Alliance”). In the Open City Hub model, the IoT connectivity platform is offered by the municipality as an open access, commercially neutral network available to all companies or consumers in the city. Öresundskraft provides “connectivity as a service” for the Helsingborg hub.

Actility opens IoT Lab in Paris with widespread 3GPP industry partner support

The lab has garnered support from a wide range of industry partners offering 3GPP-compatible network elements, modules and sensors.
